Street Fighter II is a legendary fighting game, Tekken 5 and Soul Calibur 2 are my favourites but for some reason Street Fighter is simply iconic.

Personally, I would have gone with Super SF2 Turbo… it had the increased roster from Super, the speed from Turbo, and added super moves on top of it all. It also allowed you to play as both the Super Turbo and Super versions of each character (except of course Akuma). Let's also not forget this is where Akuma was introduced, and brought the already insane challenge of the single player to a new level. The community that still plays it to this day considers it the definitive version.
