Soul Calibar 1 on Dreamcast was better than 2. Its a shame it was just a dreamcast exclusive. Also my fav is Tekken 3. But Tekken 7 may become my fav of all time.

But Tekken Tag was a way better game. AND it's graphics still hold up today when you run it at high resolution 😮

Tekken 3 is not even close to T4 and T5
Melee, street fighter 2 and tekken 3 are my favourites. But guilty gear strive atm is an absolute banger. I'm having some of the most fun in a fighting game that over had in years.
Skull girls is also an fantastic 6 button fighter.
And I've always had a soft spot for soul calibur 1 and powerstone on dreamcast as well.
