Hellish Quart is an early access sword fighting game that is not very famous among players. It is a fighting game about sword dueling, in which the blades really clash using physics, and the characters use motion captured fencing techniques. Play as one of many 17th century warriors and use sabers, rapiers, broadswords, and many other blades in quick fights, survival mode, or LOCAL multiplayer with friends (you can play online too with Steam Remote Play Together). You can also casually spar with wooden weapons or train in modern HEMA gear.
I don’t remember of you check out video games but I found a video on one called Hellish Quart, the swordplay looks very realistic.
I get the game is supposed to be realistic in terms of damage, but it seems almost too easy to win or lose
First-person mode?
VR support?
Damn I can't Believe I never player.
They need to add decapitations. And not just a finisher. Like in real time during the fight.
You never player
I love this game
ive played it
No I’ve played this
Or put the name of the game in the title.
I love how bad you were trying to land those grabs in the montage at the start
They need to add “Hanzo” , a Japanese samurai with a katana. This is literally the era of feudal Japan—the era of the samurai.
Samurai is neeeded
I never player this game in my life!
"you guys wanna see an amputation?"
shit game
Ah yes, the best sword duel game we never player
It’s trippy how real this game looks to me, something about the way the characters and the camera move
So cool it even have cossacs in the game
But why dont you do that in real life

What I wish Blade and Sorcery was
🛳 shiP
Everyone is gonna be laughing until they add Samurai and Chinese sword fighters in the game
This reminds me of Bushido Blade. I use to play those so much.
Looks like newer version of bushido blade only Playstation 1 kids played it
Bushido blade on the PlayStation was the original realistic sword game
Why is there so many double unskippable ads
You should try For Honor…better fighting in that game I think.
This reminds me of playing Prince of Persia on the SNES when I was a kid. Back then, those sword fights felt real and high stakes compared to other hack and slash titles. I honestly think this type of combat would fit perfectly in a newer Prince of Persia game.
Lol i played it before you did
Yea I heard of this couple months ago
I was wondering wassup with it
I don't think idk if it's ps5 or will be rather, I think I read somewhere rn only pc
Hope not
Bc it's looking great
Isabella out here doing a Star Wars reenactment with all those hands she's taking
This is my first time hearing about this game and it looks like a lot of fun.
Are there really no Samurai in this game? Why not?
cossack giga chad barbass
Man there's nothing in between. Either its a sword fighting game where people can take 1000 hits, or the swords a literal light saber and insta kill. Neither is realistic.
Alot of these attacks arent properly landing, either angle wise or power wise, but cut straight through like butter. Also while some of these strikes would be critical, they aren't just going to die on the spot. Adrenaline will allow them to fight on and NO game considers that, it's always a basic health bar system.
Sword and Sorcery actually handles this fantastically your blade has to hit with enough power AND the right angle upon impact, Blocking is a bit basic, you can block some absurd attacks by just barely touching the other blade, but sadly the AI are morons and their animations are very limited.
Might be a fun game, but "realistic" ? No…
game preceding this one is blade symphony
Please come to console 😮
We need a Star Wars version of this game!!
1:11 Bummer! How can something like this even happen!? Huge white letters on a black background, added manually in the post-processing, transitions had to be checked, the whole video had to be checked before it was rendered out, then it was uploaded, it had to be checked again on YT, it still wasn't taken down immediately to correct the mistake and render it again to upload the corrected version, no, the botched version remained so that everyone can see it, only you didn't see your mistake? At none of these stages as outlined above? How blind does one have to be? How? It's not just a spelling mistake, it's a state of mind. In my company, you wouldn't have a job. But McDonald's is hiring. 👎🏼
It seems like you're not doing really a lot of the moves that are available in the game like you can decapitate people you can you can grab them kick them reach-around slice under their arm is doing like a basic button presser
This makes me want to get back in to Kendo.
The OHKO fighting games are making something of a comeback. Dive Kick, FOOTSIES, and is it ever good to see the sword duel take on the OHKO genre. I let my headmate borrow my Steam library; she picked Marta and never ever let her go.
i wonder what device this is on.
The graphics need a little improvement and the movements needs to be less awkward and goofy then it's a brilliant well rounded game.
No online 🤕🤕🤕🤕
Brother, your commentary is fucking hilarious. Peace.
a lot of people see these kinds of games in some of my videos and keep asking about their names, so I thought I'll start reviewing all the "hidden gems" I know. This was my first ever review type video, so I hope you like it, and I hope you want to see more.
