Ps2 was stacked when it came to any genre. The problem with ps2 with fighting games is even though it had a huge amount of fighting games, you would say probably only about 5 percent of them had their best versions of those games on the ps2. I feel like 95 percent of ps2 fighting games had better versions on other consoles

A BIG reason as to why I believe the PS2 was the greatest console to ever exist and had the best gallery of games is because it happened to have the 99% of the best fighting games ever released, to the point where you could almost never go wrong purchasing a fighting game for the PS2, there was so much healthy variety, there was ZERO DLC and as a result, fighting games on the PS2 were a better overall package than their later counterparts.
