It was a great list but I have a nitpick though; you show KOF Maximum Impact 2 and the you show KOF 2006 when they are EXACTLY THE SAME GAME (for some reason SNK decided to call KOF MI2 KOF 2006 when released in US) yet you forgot to include instead KOF Maximum Impact Regulation A.
PS2 definitely changed the game I grew up going to the arcade but when ps2 came out it was over
I felt like maxium impact was really a fatal fury game featuring KOF characters

Hit em with a punch, then a jumping dropkick.
Sent the other players fighter flying into the corner of the arena and instantly killed them when they hit the wall.
