One of my favorite martial arts. I like it for it's elbow and knee strikes. The anime character shown at 1:30 & 4:34 is Saw Paing from Kengan Ashura who uses NOT Muay Thai, but Lethwei. Lethwei is similar Muay Thai but with two major differences: the sport is practiced BAREKNUCKLE with only tape and gauze & HEADBUTTS are allowed.

Very interesting.
I admired and I respect Muay Thai a lot.
Hello, I'm Thai. The information in your vdo is very good. The fact is that in the ancient times, Muay Thai was developed for war but there were many disadvantages. A lot of poses are difficult to use. Muay Thai was developed from ancient boxing by combining western boxing. For more effective punching and wearing gloves to reduce injury. but even so Muay Thai still has a high fighting ability. Kicks, knees, elbows that hit important points in the body can be fatal for the opponent. In Thailand, there are some incidents where there are fights between gangsters and former Thai boxer. The result is a gangster looking for a former Thai boxer. Although the gangster had a pocket knife and knuckles, he was beaten by a former Thai boxer with an elbow to the head until he passed out, his head hitting the ground, his condition serious. Muay Thai hand-to-hand combat skills It can still be used in real situations even though time has passed for a long time.In Muay Thai in The past where safety was not good enough, there were many serious injuries or death on stage because the attack hits an important organ like head heart liver nervous system. in the past of a Thai boxer fighting vs kung fu fighter has been recorded The kung fu fighter was hit by a Muay Thai boxer's elbow at injury on the nerve center.and died the next day. Adapting to vdo games must make Thai boxers look more fancy for entertainment.
Guys Muay Thai is a copy of Kun Khmer and Ayutthaya is full of Khmer bulidling and
Kung Fu pls
i don't really know how to catalogue this but Muay Thai is curious to me since for most depictions is shown as a villain style, perhaps it's because it brutality and efficiency but most practitioner are either villain (Like Sagat) , bad people (Like Adon) or rude (like Fakhumran), the exception being Joe
Let's gooo!!
Sagat>Fahkuram i like both but sagat was the first tall muay thai boxer. 🥊
Another interesting thing about Muay Thai is that it's meant to specifically hurt and/or incapacitate your opponent so that they cannot continue to fight. Many other martial arts are meant more for self defense and to "peacefully" deter your opponent while causing minimal physical harm. Muay Thai on the other hand is meant for attacking and causing as much harm as necessary to forcibly stop your opponent from fighting or moving or living in some cases. Muay Thai is brutal, straightforward and no nonsense, I love it lol.
