  1. Recently got KoF 99 for the Dreamcast and PS1, and while the former is a much, MUCH superior port, it's still a good fighting game on both consoles.

It's only confirmed for me that I need to get the Sega console ports of SNK's fighting games. I'll never be able to afford them on Neo Geo consoles, so CD/Saturn/Dreamcast ports are the next best thing

  2. During my time at high school, I had Street Fighter 1 and 2, The King of Fighters: Orochi Saga, Mortal Kombat, Yie Ar Kung Fu, etc for Android.

Most of the students were uninterested in those type calling them "random fighting games", there interests were in open-world, online-multiplayers.

    and the other students

  3. Really hope you guys pre-ordered the limited run games version of Skullgirls. Can't wait to see you talk about it.

  4. I really enjoy your channel you guys are awesome

  5. "you stole my line"
joe said that line in a way that made me feel sooo sorry for him.

  6. Killer instinct now has the best soundtrack ever.

  7. Fun fact: The SNES version of Justice League Task Force was developed by Blizzard Entertainment and the Genesis version was developed by Condor (later known as Blizzard North). These versions were developed completely independently of each other. Initially both teams didn't even know about each others' existance and actually got aquainted on some industry event (like ECTS or E3), when they saw that they were basically working on the same title just for different platforms. At the time Blizzard was also finishing working on Warcraft 2 and Condor was desperately trying to find a publisher, who would agree to finance the development of their rogue-like RPG project (it was Diablo, of course, but they hadn't come up with the name yet). The rest is, as they say, history. (Later Blizzard earned lots of cash on their Warcraft 2 and decided to invest in Condor's project and eventually bought the studio responsible for Diablo and Diablo 2).

  14. Who's JJ?? Have you not read one Spider-Man comic book or seen a movie in your entire life? lol

  15. Who the hell is JJ? Jay Jonah Jameson, DUH!

  16. Superman had long hair because it was the 90s and every superhero was drawn with a mullet. To this day we still question why.

  17. oohhh i wish student fighting in real life…

  18. Kof 97 was so good one of my favorite fighting games of all time.

  19. Superman had long hair in the comics in the 90s. So thats why he had it in the game.

  20. WHO IS JJ???

  21. When Dave was at least a bit interested in doing the show

  22. Whooooaaa! Rival Schools – that's a deep cut into my childhood right there! I still catch myself humming the Taiyo High School Rooftop theme every once and a while lol! Might have to dive into the OST after this watch!

  24. This was back during the era where Superman had long hair in the comics.

  25. Missed out KOF 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, X1, along with their two 3D games for PS2

  26. Playing KoF as Mai? I see Joe is a man of culture as well 😛

  27. "Soul Calibur is out now for recent generation systems" Looks at date published oh… 2014… wow.

  28. Soul Calibur 2 and 3 look better in their time than Soul Calibur 6 does today. SC6 blows

  29. thanks for the efforts but at this time it was clear to me that you are not fighting games big fans lol

  30. The CPU on King of Fighters '98 is CRAZY difficult. It's oftentimes easier to play against actual people than that cheap mofo.

  31. Part of the reason why the "Variable Geo" wasn't released in the U.S.A. was because of an anime series of the same name, which had some adult content. There was also a version of Variable Geo that did have some "mature" content in the game.

  32. O also prefer the Marvel game instead of the movies

  33. LOL, yeah 6 years ago infinity stones were largely unknown, now everyone knows what they are.

  34. You know once upon a time there was a game called unholy war, I wonder if these guys know about that one, it was a 3d fighter and seemed as if it was straight from Japan

  35. I doubt that Dave really played Justice League for the Genesis for more than 3 min. It plays horrible and it seems that he didn’t note that

  36. Sakura from Rival schools is Sakura from Street Fighter?
