Nixian Channel Description:

We’re lifelong video game enthusiasts with a passion for showing the world how our favorite hobby has grown with us, from individual series to industry-wide retrospectives.
We put significant time and creative effort into each one of our videos, including research, digging into archives, recording voiceovers, and editing. Every video takes as many as 10 hours to produce, because we strive to give our fans consistent, high-quality content.

Our popular “Evolution of…” series goes far beyond simply presenting gameplay footage. We take the time to show how a video game property — its gameplay, character designs, graphics, sound direction, etc. — have evolved over time. We include unique voiceover work on each video to enhance the viewing experience.
People have been playing video games for decades. In that time, we’ve gone from moving a white line up and down to block a moving pixel, to participating in full-fledged, painstakingly rendered real-time battles with people all over the world. We help older gamers look back on how these experiences have changed throughout their lives, and new gamers to understand the broader context of the series they’re playing for the first time today.
The video game medium never stops growing, and we’ll never stop chronicling its evolution.
Editing and voice-over were made by me.

  2. Im furios Bc jjba heeritage for the future is not here 😡

  3. Naruto never had an arcade adaptation 😂

  4. You missed Blazblue Central Fiction and I'm really mad

  5. My favorites are Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3, Persona 4 Arena: Ultimax, Guilty Gear XRD, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Guilty Gear: Strive

  6. 0:46 why MVC? in my opinion this game does't count, because they have marvel charcters (in fact you could put x-men vs street fighter first)

  7. Marvel vs capcom ? Guilty gear ? Those are not animes or mangas

  8. Dragon ball XenoVerse 2 is better then all the games lol

  9. Dbxv2 video u used was the previous version like dbxv1 or dbxv

  10. >puts melty blood
    >puts under night in birth
    >doesn't put fate/unlimited codes

    Cool video though

  11. This guy can't even pronounce Saint Sieya right

  12. Anime fighters is not jus being a fighting game based on an anime licence but it is al about character design and animation style.

In that video you forgot the most influential anime fighters of all which introduced a new animation and colorization technic: Darkstalkers which paved the road for SFA series, SF3 and SF Crossovers…and had a large influence on Blazblue and Guilty Gear (even in Xrd Rev and Strive).

Then SNES, 1992, Ranma 1/2 is also forgotten.

  13. You should have added dragon ball z kakarot

  14. u forgot jojo bizarre adventure heritage of the future

  15. I’m sorry but Xenoverse or Jump Force aren’t fighting games😐

  16. Some of these are fighting games and some aren’t. All the 2D ones are FGs. The 3D arena fighters are a separate thing all together.

  17. If Jump Force won the Game Awards when Nintendo didn’t pay them.

  18. I like how he said dragon ball xenoverse 2, but he shows dragon ball xenoverse 1 on the screen

  19. Asuka 120% Burning Fest only a certain few know about it..Its my all time favorite game.Wayyyyyy ahead of its time and still no game has yet to surpass it.The Alpha of fighting games.Hope they bring it back😎💙👍🏽SUB

  20. My man was reaching like a muhfucka on some of these being “anime”

  21. Where sunday vs magazine.dengeki bunko:fighting climax and my hero academia one justice 1 in video?

  22. But DBZ already had a fighting game for the Super Famicom back when the anime was adapting the Frieza saga in Japan, earlier the the first one

  23. Love the fact that they won't pronounce Arcane Heart 3 title lol.
