My opinion on every fighting game in this video with my tier rank (S highest & F lowest), also some of the games here are not fighting games so i not gonna rank them and i gonna write other fighting games that’s are good that you didn’t put in the end.
Tekken 5 – Easy the best fighting game on the PS2 and one of the greatest fighting games of all time (S Tier).
Dead or Alive 2 – it’s alright but the original ps2 version is by far the worst version of the game, the hardcore version on ps2 & the og xbox ultimate version are the best versions (B Tier).
Tekken Tag Tournament – The best ps2 launch title and one of the greatest fighting games on this console and all time. (S Tier)
Virtua Fighter 4 – Why the original and not the evolution version? (B Tier)
WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 – This is not a fighting game it’s a wrestling game also this is one of the worst wwe games on ps2 just a cashgrab port if the ps3/360 game. I not gonna rank it but i can write 5 better wrestling games than svr11.
Capcom vs. SNK 2 – One of the best 2d fighting games of all time and this version is by far the definitive one in the west. (A Tier)
Mortal Kombat: Deception – A good 3d mortal kombat game in my opinion but the gamecube & psp versions are much better because the exclusive content. (B Tier)
Def Jam: Fight For NY – This is not a fighting game it’s a wrestling game but at least a good one, still not gonna rank it because what i wrote.
Tekken 4 – I love tekken 4 but as one of the best fighting games on ps2 it’s better than a lot of games here but not the beat tekken game in the franchise. (A Tier)
Guilty Gear X2 – it’s alright most of the asw titles on the ps2 are the best looking 2d fighting games and x2 is no different. But it’s the original x2 so it’s gonna be rank lower. (C Tier)
SoulCalibur II – I grew up with soul calibur 2 and it’s still looking good and i love the ps2 version because heihachi, maybe gamecube got the best guest character but the arcade perfect port is the ps2 version because it’s original run on a arcade system that’s is basically a ps2. (A Tier)
Fight Night 2004 – This is not a fighting game it’s a boxing game and honestly the ps2 version is boring, play it on gamecube they have little mac as a guest character.
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 – this is not a fighting game this is a battle arena game. Honestly I never liked the tenkaichi games and the normal budokai games are my favorite ps2 dbz games.
Street Fighter EX3 – Fun game but hell no in my opinion it’s not one of the best ps2 fighting games. (C Tier)
The King of Fighters XI – A good mainline KOF Game but not the best kof game on ps2 or even snk fighting game on the console i gonna write a lot of them later. (B Tier)
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 – It’s MvC2 so of course it’s gonna be higher tier but the ps2 version not the best version, play it on dreamcast or on a modded ps3/360. (A Tier)
SoulCalibur III – This game is so underrated and that’s sucks because it’s better than soul calibur 2 and in my opinion one of the best fighting games on ps2. Namco always knows ti make good fighting games. (S Tier)
Bloody Roar 3 – An underrated series and sadly we not gonna get a new game in this franchise anytime soon but yeah a really good 3d fighting game on the console (B Tier).
Melty Blood: Actress Again – I can’t rank it because I’ve never play a melty blood game, it’s a fighting game unlike all the wrestling/boxing games on this video and tenkaichi that is a battle arena game but I have no opinion on it because I’ve never play it.
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus – the best guilty gear game on ps2 and the best version of x2. (A Tier)
Street Fighter Anniversary Collection – a good collection but in my opinion not the best street fighter or even capcom fighting game collection on the console, at least 3rd strike included in this one. (A tier)
Mortal Kombat: Armageddon – i like this game but for the other reasons, basically it’s the 3d version of mk trilogy but without good fatalities and recycled models from the other mk games on the same generation of consoles just play deadly alliances or deception. (D Tier)
Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3 – not going to rank it because I’ve never played a naruto game on the ps2 and also i have no opinion about this game. All i know is that the ps3 titles are not fighting games they are battle arena games, I don’t know how the ps2 naruto games played because I don’t care about naruto.
Bloody Roar 4 – This is in my opinion my favorite bloody roar game and this game still so underrated. (B Tier)
