Ultimate and Samurai Shodown have been the real standouts. However, that list continues to expand, thanks to both recent and upcoming releases. The fighting is always so laggy in Street Fighter. Why? There's a freeze right after an attack lands. Makes the gameplay very stiff and lacking in fluidity. They've been doing it this way since they started haven't they so it must be an artistic choice given how much more fluid it actually could be. Gran Blue looks just as stiff.
Metal Revolution and Punch Planet look great. Why haven't I ever heard of these? I must need to subscribe to better gaming news channels. I barely follow this one much but if it continues shed light on games I don't know about that i should, especially fighting games, then I might have to follow this channel more often. There are several games I never heard of on this list. I need to subscribe to more gaming channels or the channels I'm subscribed to need to step their game up when it comes to coverage or properly send me my notifications or something.
One punch man and myhero are the worse downgrade graphics 2 date. Opm is from a ps3 gen and myhero is basically an expansion pack from the pervious game. Lazy as fuk.

"Fighting games" are being a rare genre where the enhancement is real.
Except for a few ones that did great before, the ones we got nowadays doesn't convince the customers about what a developper could bring in terms of gameplay.

Street fighter graphics look like the gumby cartoon and some of these other fighting games look like the remake of 90s cartoons they play on TV today. The game industry is just like the music industry today. They ran out of good ideas and putting anything together to make money.
